Stewart Falls anyone?
Well, I love hiking! And honestly I haven't been enough the past couple years...This past fall in relief society we each got a minute to introduce ourselves. I said something about loving the outdoors and hiking. All of my roommates at the time quickly shot me glances of disbelief. Truthfully I really do love it and now that I'm here in Provo all summer I hope I can take advantage of all the good hiking and outdoor activities we have around here! To start off the summer right some of my friends and I went on a hike up Stewart Falls! It was a nice, very easy hike with a great waterfall at the end! It was beautiful! Hopefully there will be more hikes like this all summer!!

BYU Spring Style!
Well, once again it's been a while since my last post. I just thought I'd catch everyone up on what I've been doing with my life!! To do this I thought I'd try something a little bit different. Since I don't take a lot of pictures of my own I'm going to use random pictures to represent what I've been up to! Hopefully this will work..
Well, what better way to celebrate the end of winter semester than to get your wisdom teeth out! yup, that's what I did! It was a great couple of days to recuperate. I spent most of those few days sleeping and watching all 5 of the Harry Potter movie. (Number 6 is coming out this summer!)

While I was recuperating I was also in between apartments. I had to move out of one a week before I could move into my next apartment. So, I duct taped all I had to the roof of my car and hoped it didn't fly off. Actually... I borrowed my brother's mini van, packed it full, and parked it at my parent's for a couple days.. but I kind of felt like this lady.

Well I got all moved into my new place and I love it!! It's such a fun complex! Our apartment turned out really cute with the help of my roommate Acacia. We really feel like we are in a home! Our favorite thing to do is to sit on the porch and eat our otter pops. It's like we have our own little suburban neighborhood. What a life!
Yup folks, those are sardines.. and while we all love those little guys this has to do with the game sardines. It's like hide and go seek but one person goes and hides and everyone else tries to find them. Once you find them you hide with them as well. The last one there looses. Well... we played this game the other night with some friends in our ward. We played it on campus in some of the buildings. Usually I don't love games like this but it was a lot of fun!

While playing sardines in one of the buildings, the Eyring Science Center to be exact... a small group of us found ourselves looking on the top floor. I had been there before and knew there was a planetarium and a look out deck on the roof. We wandered up there to see if it was open. It was. There was an astronomy lab up there looking at the stars. The professor told us to come on out and look through the telescopes! He showed us Saturn! We saw the rings and the two moons and everything! It was great!
Well, I've always loved Cosmo Cougar the great mascot of BYU but now I can say I met his relative! The other day some of us were driving up the canyon a little ways to go to a park when all of a sudden a cougar came out of the woods and stopped in the street. We slowed to a stop to avoid hitting cosmo's cousin, it looked at us for a bit then ran off into the woods again. Needless to say.. it was cool.
Have you ever finished a full game of monopoly? Well.. a group of eight of us tried the other night. We played for two straight hours and we still didn't quite finish. Acacia was definitely leading the pack.. but I was putting up a fight. We never finished, so who knows what could have happened! Maybe another day we'll finish it..

The other night I was able to go to a hypnotist show. It was in Pleasant Grove at this quaint little threater. Honestly, I am very skeptical about these kinds of things but was willing to see what would happen. Mostly he had the participants do funny and kind of embarrassing things. I still don't exactly believe in that kind of stuff all that much but it was definitely entertaining!
So far this summer has been so much fun!! Hopefully I'll do better with the updates! I'm also going to try and take more pictures of my own! That way I don't have to google search images....
