Christmas Festivities!

Pre-finals Testing Center work party! we had a good amount of people show up! it was a lot of fun to hang out with co-workers outside of work! (technically we were still in the testing center.. but ya know.)

Final chaos

I think every semester about this time I post about how dang busy I am! Working at the testing center is one of the best jobs in the world, but when finals come... it makes me rethink working there! With studying,taking finals of my own, and working 45+ hours in a week I don't know how I'm going to make it! But, every semester it works out somehow. And then, it's Christmas break!! Watching Christmas movies, making treats, playing with my nieces and nephews, drinking hot chocolate...ahhh... I just have to keep thinking about all of that and I'll make it! And just think, after these finals, only one more finals week for me! Then I'll be done with school, a college graduate! Can you believe it?? Anyway, wish me luck this week... and good luck to all of you taking finals!

Senioritis!

Well, I graduate this April. Crazy stuff! I can't believe my days at BYU are coming to an end! It's been such a great college experience for me! Yes, I still have a semester left.. but I can't help keep saying, "man.. this is the last time I'm going to _____ as a student." This time I'm filling in that blank in with "a home football game." This semester I've been working every Saturday and didn't get football tickets. I was lucky enough to get to go to the last home game this past Saturday though!

This semester our apartment was involved with a lot of intramural teams. Members of our apartment were part of kickball, flag football, soccer, and ultimate frisbee teams. Along with all the teams we were involved in, lots of our friends are on teams as well. We tried to attend as many as we could.. Anyway, this picture represents intramurals this semester.. we were watching Daniel's ultimate game and it was freezing cold!!!!

That's right, Kelsey got her mission call!!! She's going to the Salt Lake Temple Square mission! Which means I'll still be able to see her once in a while!!!! She's going to be so great! But I'll miss her as a roommate! She reports February 2nd so this is our last semester together! With Jill married, Sara on her mission and Kelsey leaving on her mission it just leaves Katie and I from freshman year in our apartment! Crazy how things can change so quickly!

Fort 457

Well, here's another reason why my Mom thinks I need to grow up.. haha, just kidding.. but seriously. We built a fort a while back. It was probably the best fort I've help make. And even though I haven't tried to make one since being about 10, I'd say my roommates and I did quite a good job!

I believe I wrote a while back about how we have a throwback Thursday movie night every Thursday night. Well, this week we had a cowboy night and watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Our friend Kevin made homemade root beer and we all dressed up. It was a fun night!

twenty first year

My roommate Kelsey turned 21 yesterday! It's crazy to think that I've known Kelsey (and my other roommies from freshman year) for 4 years!! I've been with her to celebrate 4 of her 21 birthdays! crazy! We had a few celebrations on Sunday in honor of her! We had dinner as roommates. (plus old roommate Jill and her husband Brandon) We then made caramel apples! I stole the idea from my Sister Laura... They were delicious! That night we had a few people over for cake. Let's just say I've had enough sugar this weekend to last me a while!

Well, Halloween is here again and this year we wanted to go all out! So after throwing out many ideas we finalized on....... Cereal characters! Tony the Tiger, Cap'n Crunch, Lucky the Leprechaun, and Toucan Sam. We had a ward party last night and dressed up. Here are some pics!

Fall is in the air!

My roommates and I went on a drive up Alpine loop by Sundance the other day. The leaves are starting to change colors! They aren't super vivid yet.. but they are getting there! It got me so excited for fall! Here are a few pics of the fun afternoon!
