Sister Brown is off to Russia!

Well.. Acacia is now Sister Brown! She's been out for a week already! She's going to Russia! I can't believe everyone is starting to leave! Anyway, Acacia's family had a little "missionaryette shower/party." It was so fun to see everyone from freshman year and see Acacia be so excited to get out there and teach the gospel!

I love this picture!! These girls have been some of my best friends for the last 3 years!! and we're so colorful! haha
The missionary herself! She's going to be great!

The whole group that's there... who's idea was it to do the stair picture.... haha

Life is good.

I have nothing to complain about. My classes are going well. Work is great. I miss my parents but they are doing amazing things in Paraguay and I get to see them this summer! These past 7 1/2 months have flown by at times and have crawled by at other times. I get to see Laura a lot! We hang out and do fun things... I think it's better for us not to live together.. haha I see Robert, Rachel and Jack every once in a while! Jack is such a cutie! I'll miss them when Robert goes to grad school. Jenny and their fam are nice enough to let us come home whenever we want! I wish I could go home more often. School and work make that hard. Her kids are growing up so quick! Callie is turning 12 tomorrow! She's going to be in young women's?! I remember when she was born! Man I feel old! wow... I keep up with my other siblings as much as I can.. Seeing pictures of Wendy and Matt's families makes me wish I could fly to New York or Texas on a whim to see them! They are all growing up so quick! I hate missing it.
I'm still loving Provo though.. I have great roommates! They've been great friends and roommates for 3 years now! I've made great friends in my ward, in my major, and at work. I'm trying to eat better and exercise 3 to 4 times a week to get ready for that half marathon in May. I can run up to 4 miles now at a time...I'm slowly but surely working up. The other day I signed a contract for another year here in the complex I live in. It'll be my last year here at the Y... weird. I'm going to be a senior in college... I already am credit wise. That was a shocking day to see my student summary status: Senior. I'm almost done. I can't believe it... then I'm off to either grad school or the real world... I'm still deciding. I can't believe I'm to that point in my life. I feel like I was a scared little freshman just yesterday... not knowing what I was doing with my life. Now.. 3 years later, I have a better idea but I'm still scared! Not a "scared stiff 'scared'" but a "here comes the future.. who knows what it'll bring but I'm excited 'scared'.."
I honestly don't know what this post was trying to convey... mostly that I'm happy about where I'm at in life. Sometimes I see friends going on missions and getting married and I wonder what I'm doing with my life... But then I realize I'm doing a lot of good things! I almost have a college degree! That in itself is a great thing! Sometimes I just have to remind myself of these things... Of the good things in life that I'm doing. And how great my life is going right now! So future, here I come!
