We put up a good fight...

Well, the semester is winding down and finals are near. To celebrate the close of a great sophomore year we went to Tucano's! (on a student discount day..haha) Tucano's is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian grill. The servers come out with tons of different kinds of meat. There's also a huge salad bar. We ate and ate and ate!!! Our server even commented that we "put up a good fight." Unfortunately.. we ate a little too much. Especially my roommate Jill. She just didn't know when to stop... as you will see below..

The girls at Tucano's!

Jilly after our large meal..

She tried to do some sit ups but couldn't quite make it..
She's also thinking about being a whale for halloween.

She will soon be starting an intensive dieting and exercise program.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Well.. the other night it was pouring rain in Provo.. This doesn't happen very much considering it's usually snow.. so my roommates and I got very excited. We got ready and ran outside. Yes we are all sophomores in college, but we sure had fun jumping in the puddles like we were 5 year olds! Well, needless to say, we got pretty cold after a while. When we came back inside dripping wet and freezing we filled the bathtub up with warm water to warm up our feet. One thing led to another and well.. you'll see..

Sara M. thought she'd be funny and turn the shower on..
Those are our five year old smiles.

I really don't know how we all fit in there.

Arizona!!!

So a while ago, four of my roommates and I decided to go to Arizona for a long weekend. Utah weather was starting to get too cold and we needed a break from school before mid terms came up. My roommate Kelsey has grandparents that live in Pason and have a condo in Scottsdale where we could stay. So we planned the trip. Most of us didn't have Friday classes so we took off bright and early that morning! After just one or two minor detours we made it to Arizona! The funnest part of the trip was watching the temperature slowly rise from 11 to 85!!! Once we were in Arizona we spent our time swimming, window shopping, eating out, and we even hiked a mountain! On Sunday we went up to Pason to go to church with Kelsey's grandparents. It was so much fun and so nice of them to let us come! All in all it was a great weekend!! Let's just say it was hard to come back to Utah!

Before we left Provo... very cold...

Finally on Arizona ground!!

Going to dinner the first night there...

This was our favorite breakfast place!! Randy's!

We hiked Camel Back Mountain.

I found a cactus!

And my inner peace.

Sweet look out on the ride down!!

We decided to forge some of our own trails!

Mesa Temple!

Crazy hand chair at the condo.

Finally back in Utah!

Oh hey blogging world...

So... I decided to start blogging again. I know it's been a while and a lot has happened in my life! I just started my 4th semester here at the Y and I'm loving it! Last semester was a tough one for me and I was definitely ready for a change! I'm taking more classes for my major now and I'm really enjoying them. Right now my favorite classes are ASL and Human Anatomy. ASL is so fun and I love my teacher! She is deaf so there is no talking allowed in class. I've learned so much so quickly! It's been so great so far! Anatomy is by far the hardest class I'm taking right now but by far the most interesting! We have labs where we can study on human cadavers. At first I was a little weary of the whole thing but after spending upwards of 10 hours in the lab a week you get used to just picking up an arm and studying off of it. The human body is an amazing thing. It makes me realize that God had to have a part in it. There is no way that all the specific muscles, tendons and bones could magically come together to form the human body. I love learning about the human body! This semester is going to be a great one, I can just feel it!
