I think almost every New Years Eve I've ever had was spent either at home or with friends at their homes. This year, I was thinking about it, most of my friends at home are now married. Which is great, but I'm just not going to hang out with them and their loved ones on New Years Eve. Just isn't going to happen. Now, all my friends in Provo are usually off at their own homes with their families for the break leaving me yet again, friendless. I love hanging out with Jenny, Brian and the kids, but I figured the kids would go to bed early. Well like I said, I've never done anything extremely exciting or memorable. Well this year was different. Luckily two of my friends from BYU came back into town early! And together we thought up a great plan for New Years Eve... with the help of Salt Lake City that is..
Salt Lake was doing this thing called 3ve. It was Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights (Thus the 3ve.) It was only 15 dollars and we got into all kinds of stuff. There were all kinds of performances on temple square, comedy clubs, short films, ballet performances, children's theater productions, planetarium shows, and many other things. They were all running almost every hour all over the city. Trax was free so we had a fun time picking and choosing where to go and riding trax there. This is what we ended up doing...

Then we went to an improv comedy club. It was really funny! (Those are my friends Trevor and Scott who I went with.)
A really cool band playing at the Galivan Plaza. They were called Voodoo Orchestra. They were a twenty peice band, all 18 years old and younger that played jazz and swing! They were so talented!
